So I thought I would post some cute pictures of cakes that I have made in the past few months just so you could see and also a cute pic of our little Bristol on her First Birthday. Yes, I am very , very behind on my posts and I really need to get back in the groove.
Isn't that the cutest face ever. She just loves the beach so much. I love this little gift from heaven. I also love every single one of my other gifts from heaven. Briana, Brandon, Bethany, Braelynn, Brooklyn, Bryant and Bristol were sent to our home directly from Father in Heaven to bring us joy and happiness, and they have. Love them all.

Saturday night tweet
New Blog design is wonderful. I love these pre-made wallpapers and banners. I wish I had time to make my own, but right now with school, kids, moving, husband, home-cleaning, etc. I will be satisified with this. See you tomorrow.

Tired.
So I am having a design problem with my Banner in my blog, but it is now 11 o'clock at night and I have to go to bed. For anyone that views this I just want you to know I have my priorities straight and sleep outweighs this flaw at the moment. Hopefully, this will all be put right in the morning, but only after 6 children receive their breakfast, two children catch the bus, two children walk to school and the remaining two children are happily playing something constructive at my feet. Good night all!

So I know that I am lazy in the blogging world.
So I know that I am lazy in the blogging world, but in my defense the blog is titled Seven in Heaven. I mean it does take finding a spare moment to do about a million different things. We have been really busy doing all sorts of things. We are lucky to have Grandma and Grandpa Dover here close by now and the children love doing things with them. Bryant has coined a new phrase. One day Grandpa was going to run errands. Bryant begged to go with him. He said, "Buddy, I am going to be doing 'boring stuff'." He still persisted and so, to try and show him how boring it would be, Grandpa gave in and let him go with him. Now whenever Grandpa comes over Bryant begs him to go and do some boring stuff with him. Love it. Well, here are some pics from the last few weeks and I will try and download a few more soon.

Cakes and Kids
Well, I know it has been a long time since I last posted a pic, but in my defense, I had a non-working camera. I now have rectified the situation and purchased a new camera and now you can see the results. This is a Special Dark cake for a special dad's birthday. They always trade candybars whenever they see each other and so they requested this to remember that time together.
This is a special ghost cake for a special little boy who loved the cake.
This is a special birthday cake for a special little girl who was just baptized the same day.
This is Bryant posing next to his amazing creation.
This is Braelynn holding up the bumper sticker she earned for her mom and dad. She was student of the month for September. What a great kid!

Madsen Bike Giveaway!!
I found this bike and I totally want to win. My new slogan is "Makin' Memories with Madsen".
With seven kids this is the perfect Mom bike. It has a place in the front to hold baskets, bags, bundles, and even those special bugs that children need to look at when you are out on bike rides. It has a very comfortable seat, which as you moms know is essential. I mean who wants to have to go on a bike ride when it isn't relaxing. Moms need all of the relaxation that they can get, and Madsen understands that. There is also this amazing "Bucket" on the back of the bike. Now here is the clincher! That bucket can carry almost anything that seven kids and a mom could ever dream of, and believe me we have dreamt of some pretty crazy things, and that is just it, it carries dreams. The most important thing when you have a family is making memories. I can just imagine sitting around when I am 90 years old and my children remembering good times with the Madsen Bike. The things we carried, the times we hauled a hurt knee home, or the times that we laughed ourselves silly at the treasures we'd find on a Saturday morning only to have Dad roll his eyes and wonder what we were going to turn it into. Ok, Madsen, I would love to win this bike and carry it with us on our travels around the world in this Military Momma's Adventures.

Heather won!!
So Heather Harper won the cake name contest. She came up with:
Camelot Cakes
I love it. It really goes along well with the warriors that I do things for (knights) and their princesses. I also love how regal it sounds.
Well, we have been working on cleaning this house up all day and doing a special birthday cake for a friend. If it wasn't a surprise I would post it, but you will have to wait until later.
Congratulations Little Sister on winning the contest.

Cake Name Contest!!
Ok, for those of you who look at my blog I am announcing a cake naming contest. I am calling for names for my cake business. I love creative names and I am looking to finally start marketing (a little bit). I want something that will capture all of the different kinds of cakes that I like to make. From sculptured masterpieces, to fun birthday cakes and elegant wedding cakes. The winner will receive a custom made cake. (Sorry I can't ship these cakes so you will either have to be local or wait until I see you next.) Good Luck and here is the latest cake creation.
I made this birthday cake for a little girl who was turning 2. It is little petit-for cakes made out of Triple Chocolate Fudge cake with a raspberry filling. Yummy, yummy.

July Cakefest.
So these are the latest two cake creations. Briana returned home and we made her the Cullen Crest from Twilight. I freehanded this and so it isn't the greatest, but she was very excited. It was a huge hit. The cake tasted amazing also. This Engineer cake is being made for the 561st Engineer Company as a part of their volunteer appreciation night. I think it looks really cool. I hope that it is a huge hit. Did I mention that I love making cakes?
Waimea Bay Family Day!
Today was a great day. Briana returned from Utah last night and so we decided to take everyone to Waimea Bay this morning to celebrate. Well, Braelynn and Bethany were showing off their courage by jumping off the jumping rock and Bryant was skipping over the waves. Brooklyn decided that it was a great day to wear her lifejacket and she just loved swimming back and forth. I was able to see my first sea turtle while snorkeling. What an amazing morning. Lee is out with Briana and Brandon at a movie and enjoying the last few hours of his leave. Pretty soon school will start and we will have to go back to the realities of life, but for right now vacationing from home is wonderful.
